In addition to downloading, completing and mailing the application, a family can complete the
Student Aid Form (PDF) directly on your computer screen by placing the cursor at the appropriate fields and typing the information. Print the completed document to be mailed and save to your computer for your records.

IHA's PSAS school code is 1209 (NEWK) and must appear on all paperwork.

THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR INNER-CITY CHILDREN

The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children invites you to apply for a partial tuition scholarship for your child for the 2010-2011 school year. Partial-tuition scholarships are awarded based on financial need without regard to race, religion, or ethnicity.
Applications are available to download by visiting the website www.sficnj.org .
Paper copies of the application are available in the IHA Guidance Office, offered in
both English and Spanish.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION IS JANUARY 15, 2010.
Being a current scholarship recipient does not guarantee an automatic scholarship award for the 2010-2011 school year. Current recipients as well as new applicants must submit a completed application every year along with a $15.00 money order and the proper financial documentation that includes a copy of your signed 2008 Federal 1040 and 2008 W-2 Forms. In addition, all financial award amounts are not guaranteed and can be changed from year to year.
All applicants will be notified of our decision after March 15, 2010.
Please Note:
If you are a parent of a current 8th grader who is interested in attending a Catholic High School in 2010-2011, we realize that you will not know what High School your child will attend before the January 15, 2010 deadline. We suggest that you write “Catholic H.S.-TBD” when completing the application. Upon your High School decision in February, you can then notify our office in writing with the High School of your choice.
